Corporate Background: On February 10, 1994, FormsPrint Resources, Inc. was granted a corporate charter by the State of North Carolina.  In January 1996, Kevin Smith joined FormsPrint and founded the Document Management and Technology Division to provide services including installation, training, and technical support for imaging customers.  In addition, the company implemented a comprehensive in-house service bureau for scanning customer documents.  To better reflect our corporate philosophy and offerings, FormsPrint executed an official name change to One Source Document Solutions, Inc. in 1997.

 

One Source Document Solutions, Inc. became a Laserfiche Certified Reseller in February 1998, and has been a leading document imaging and electronic forms solution provider in North Carolina since 1996 and a strong North Carolina Corporation since 1994.  LaserFiche has been in active use since 1987 and is one of the most widely used document imaging solutions on the market today with over 23,000 installations.  LaserFiche is a proven, high-quality solution for document imaging and workflow. 

 

One Source, the only Laserfiche VAR headquartered in North Carolina, has been awarded the LaserFiche Winners’ Circle designation for seven consecutive years beginning in 2000 which recognizes outstanding performance in sales and superior customer support satisfaction on the part of the One Source sales and technical support staff.  With over 650 VAR’s, these recognitions represent a significant achievement on the part of the staff of One Source. 

 

Today, One Source supports 250 Laserfiche clients and 400 other corporate clients in 30 states with continued recognition for high-quality service and support.

 

On January 1, 2004, One Source purchased Pro-Forms & Systems, Inc., a 25-year old highly successful business forms distributorship headquartered in Burlington, NC.  One Source maintains a corporate office in Greensboro, NC and a sales office in Burlington, NC.  

 

On April 1, 2006, One Source merged with Alternative Data Imaging of Johnson City, Tennessee, another Laserfiche Winners’ Circle Reseller.  The addition of ADI has provided a considerable increase in support, training and installation resources as well as valuable industry experience with document management systems.  One Source continues to maintain a sales and support office in Johnson City.
